Monday blues? Chase them away with some nice cream!

I recently had the opportunity to contribute a summer recipe to my friend Carla’s new publication: CHAVA Magazine! CHAVA is a digital women’s magazine featuring a variety of content by and for “[ladies/lady-indentified/persons interested in alternative feminine culture].” The first issue came out last week, featuring my cute little recipe (yay!), artwork, poems, short stories, and a introduction to some feminist reads, which I’m interested in checking out.

I love collaborating and supporting my friends’ endeavors, so I was stoked to be a part of CHAVA’s debut issue. Seeing friends working on projects they are passionate about is so inspiring! I enjoy making things and seeing my friends make things. Let’s make all the things and support each other! It’s awesome.  🙂

If you try my recipe, I’d love to hear your feedback, and please let me know if you have any particular recipe requests you think I should contribute to CHAVA in the future! I’m considering submitting other content outside of recipes (like, thoughts about eco-feminism and veganism), but we’ll see what I come up with! 😉
