My 25th birthday dinner with my family–a photo recap.

My cousin Jackie recently came back from studying abroad in Korea, and having her over for dinner was hysterical. She also blogs, and she makes cool YouTube videos! We have a lot in common with our interests, so I’m super excited she’s back in town.
For dessert, we enjoyed the most amazing birthday cake. My sister was very mysterious about revealing the flavor and wouldn’t let me smell the cake while it was baking. Finally, at the end of the night, it was revealed to be an earl grey cake–my favorite flavor ever. Absolute perfection! If you’re interested in making one of your own, my sister tripled this recipe to make a 6″ cake (8 servings). I need to make more earl grey flavored recipes.
By the end of the night, my tastebuds were well satisfied, and my abs were sore from laughing so much. I’d say that’s a good sign about turning 25. It is going to be an amazing year, I can feel it!
